How long does it take to put up a roof?

On average (depending on the size of the roof), anywhere from 1 to 3 days.

Will there be any dust or debris in my attic area from the job?

No, no debris will be in the attic. We will clean up around the house every couple of hours as we work.

What types of roofing materials does the company offer?

At Addison Construction we offer a variety of materials such as asphalt shingle, metal, tile and slate.

Will the contractor provide a written, final estimate?

Yes, we understand the importance of a written estimate. You will receive a written, final estimate before any work begins.

Can the new roof be installed over the existing roof?

Yes, but not recommended because the structure might not meet the weight capacity.

Who manufactures the roofing material the contractor will use?

We work with only the best manufacturers such as GAF, Owens Corning, Tamko, and Certainteed.

How long will the new roof last?

In Georgia a roof typically lasts about 17-20 years due to the weather conditions

What does the warranty cover?

GAF Warranty Company, LLC, a subsidiary of GAF, warrants that your GAF Products will remain free from manufacturing defects that adversely affect their performance during the applicable warranty term listed above. Note : Failure to seal/blow-offs/wind damage and algae discoloration are covered separately, please click the System Plus to view the warranty document.

Will the company use subcontractors? If so, how will they be managed/supervised?

Subcontractors are sometimes used only if we’re overbooked, but a manager is always present to supervise the work.

Can I speak with former customers?

Yes, once you consider doing business with Addison Construction you may just simply request it.

What do I need to do to prepare for installation of a new roof? Do I have to be home?

Park your cars on the street to have the materials and roofing crew trailer in the driveway. No one has to be home during the installation.
